What happens after we gathered? What happens after the social media storm is over?
The first Open Discussion Series*** Rhythms of a Movement is a space where we can engage with topics surrounding political community organizing aesthetically, bodily and in mediated discussions in monthly meet ups online/offline.
Incomplete reading recommendations will be provided, as well as theory and other resources that have been helpful in understanding processes and ideas regarding concepts of community, activism, identity and visibility.
However, each session will be moderated and put together by individuals who can speak from experience rather than theory.
Thoughts, arts, misunderstandings, mistakes, questions will be accumulated in a collaborative time-based zine created during the sessions. Whether the zines will accessible for everyone will be decided collectively.
